HIKARU -> REGAL. What a shy guy, I HOPE HE DOESN'T BREAK. Well not quite that, tbh. He has accepted that even the super duper gentle-looking guys can have a pretty nasty history. BUT ANYWAY, he still hopes you adjust okay, but he knows Tiger's Eye is a great team that loves their own so he isn't too worried. Outside of the whole maiming part.

The color scheme is horribly unfortunate though.

CUB, he couldn't even make fun of you without feeling somewhat bad. Cub is the kind of thing that you just can't make fun of because HE IS SO ABSURD. I don't understand you, lionkid. HE :( HE REMEMBERS CUB NOW THOUGH BUT HE IS QUITE CONFUSED BECAUSE. . . that was a stuffed animal and this guy isn't a stuffed animal. . . but the personality similarities might be strong enough to where he might figure it out. I have to check the threads though.

DRAGONFLY CONFUSES REGAL A LOT but by the end of their thread he'd settled on thinking dragonfly is a nice, friendly dude and Regal would def like to come over to Coral sometime like he said he would '^' And maybe talk to Dragonfly more!! The only trouble is he's too shy-awkward to just pop in out of the blue just yet so until he feels more settled/confident, he'll probably wait for an opportune moment to come by or . . . something . . .

CUB ALSO FINDS HIKARU CONFUSING he thinks hikaru is probably nice ... but... ??? ?? ??!?! he wouldn't mind talking to him again tho he'd try to be more prepared to get completely derailed. probably. THOUGH HE IS EXCITE that he got to name hikaru!11 (even if hikaru never uses it.) so he does think they should try to be friends at least 'o' esp since he's kit's teammate!

HIKARU ON WISTERIA AND COCO

HE LAUVE WISTY. Well, love might be a stretch since he still has trouble trusting people but on Iris, he does favor Wisty the most. I mean at this point, he DOES trust Kit enough and likes him too, but I think it's more like he relaaaaaaates best with Wisteria and just sort of has a different kind of comfort with her that he honestly does not get anywhere else. '^'

COCO I FEEL BAD...I mean, it's not like he remembers her well but he remembered you dying and Kit freaking out over you dying! Right after uh . . . you dying and Kit freaking out over you dying! IT IS VERY VERY AWKWARD AND HE IS SLIGHTLY JEALOUS BECAUSE HE WANTS HIS TEAMMATES ATTENTION TO HIMSELF but he is trying to hold back '-' and he is also apologizing because he does sort of feel a bit of remorse after treating her terribly. And then she died. And she died before.

Hikaru in Deco's thoughts on Kit!!

ON ONE HAND, HE LIKES YOU. ON THE OTHER HAND, HE'S TOO STUBBORN TO ADMIT IT. While the comfort levels aren't quite the same was Wisteria's, Kit is something familiar. And he wants to attach that familiar feeling because more importantly, he remembers being VERY ATTACHED to it. Three's game was very filled with emotion towards Coral and what Coral meant to each other especially compared to everyone else so that is something Hikaru pulled from said memory. HOWEVER, he is also very upset about it!

There's too much emotion in that first memory and it soooort of freaks him out. That's a lot of neediness and clinginess and oh god attachment that he wasn't ready for especially since he had pushed a lot of people away '-' Even with Leo who he CLEARLY REMEMBERS LIKING, he's verrry cautious approaching that relationship because he honestly doesn't know what to do. Or what happened. Or whether it's safe or not. He actually has an easier time getting along with people he doesn't know than the ones that he do. KIT IS PART OF THIS. Luckily, he at least won't push you away '-'b He's more likely to talk to you with a bit more openness.

REVERSE.

A LOT OF KIT'S AATHER FEELINGS ON DRAGONFLY REMAIN. He still loves him dearly and would do anything within his power to keep him safe BUT... a lot of the closeness he had with Dragonfly before in Aather, the trust and the mutual relying upon is kind of dampened :( It's really hard to trust and rely on and invest his emotional well-being in someone who doesn't remember him, especially someone who is (understandably) frustrated with the people who know him and feels awkward about all of that. Because of that, he is maintaining a certain... distance, with Dragonfly. He's being honest, but he isn't leaning on him as much as he does in Aather. This is mostly for Dragonfly's benefit! Obviously Dragonfly needs space to figure out who he is first without someone who knows him constantly butting his head into his business. But it's also for Kit's, in that... he doesn't really want to rely on Dragonfly the same way he does in Aather when Dragonfly might not be receptive to it, and it might be torn out from underneath him. It does kind of sting to be forgotten because it does kind of feel like he lost his other half (especially since they were SO CLOSE in Aather), but he's managing, and not "managing" in the unhealthy way Kit usually does :'D Dragonfly remembering him and then reaching out to him helps, and he is hoping as his teammate slowly remembers things what was broken will be patched again. He can distract himself from all of this by throwing himself headfirst into plot and investigating and making new friends SO HE IS KEEPING BUSY. He'll just wait until his broteammate learns more '-'

Surprisingly he is not jealous of Ouran canonmates although I imagine he had quite a few "b-but my teammate... .-." feelings when Hikaru immediately went over to Shell on his first night in Deco. But he understands that Hikaru needs to be with his bro and his bff, and he feels like Kaoru and Tamaki need Hikaru more than he does at the moment so he is okay with the time Hikaru spends with his canonmates '^' IT'D BE MEAN OF HIM TO THINK OTHERWISE ANYWAY.

What does Hikaru think of the situation in Deco anyway?

HE HATES IT but he's here for a reason and it doesn't seem like the last place was any better. That's really the only thing that keeps him from freaking out. HE DID THIS FOR A REASON THAT MUST HAVE BEEN REALLY IMPORTANT. Other than that, he wants to go home ,_,

Kit is now a portrait, what kind of portrait would he be.

THE JUGGLER (see what I did there), which would be generally an incredibly cheerful, playful, and tricky portrait who enjoys playing practical jokes on and teasing the people in the gallery. IS A SUPER GOOD-NATURED DUDE, only runs safe games, and most of them would have involve chasing him or figuring out his riddles in some way. Might do some potentially dangerous and adventurous exploradoras but wouldn't force teams into bad decisions or anything :|a

Hikaru's thoughts on Shirayuki?

Probably the person he likes outside of team and Shell most! She's pretty straightforward so she cuts through his bullshit and doesn't allow him to push her around which is good because he'll go in circles otherwise. He's really really sad that she died, but the impact of that is not much beyond "oh my god people can die i could have died" so it's going to be one of those sleeper tragedies '-'! He will come over to Sage though and probably bully Elliot.

HE REALLY LIKES THE INVITATION, he is curious to see what's in all the portraits tbh.

SHE PRETTY MUCH THINKS HE'S ADORABLE and he pings her super hard like a little kid :'D So she gave him some slack, more than she would have for anyone else, because he was freaking out and didn't have any memories and she just wanted to be able to help him and to a certain extent she knew where he was coming from. And he was earnest and honest with her from the beginning so she was just /)'-'(\ he's so nice!! Plus she had some memories of him by then so she kind of had this vague comfortable feeling around him like she does with Kit. This person is my friend I want him to think well of me!! And being in Deco is like the worst place to be so it's hard to...let him go off even if it's his team .-. be safe be safe be safe. Him being distressed over her death was like ;A; n-no let's talk about something else you can come over and we can do nice things!!! We will do all of the nice things okay.

HOW IS MAYA DEALING WITH RECENT TRAUMA EVENTS

OUT OF THE LOOP. Part of it is that her team seems to be going on these terrible adventures without her and when they do, THEY DON'T TELL HER ALL THE DETAILS. She still doesn't know about the string game for example!! And she is often told that it is just better she wasn't there and it makes her sad. :( NOT THAT SHE BLAMES THEM BECAUSE IT'S TRUE, YOU DON'T WANNA WISH YOUR TEAMMATES TO BE AT TERRIBLE TRAUMA THINGS.

But she feels like she's leaving her teammates to suffer for her and she isn't pulling her weight at all. :( I AM SORRY MY TEEAAAAAAAAAM.

NONE FOR DECO it is very high-intensity and trauma and drama all the time and I cannot deal with that for more than one character, it stresses me out sob ;; If I did app a second I would really need it to be someone who just DOES NOT CARE about death and trauma and dying, and I can't even think of someone I'd app who would be that way. ...That said I do tend to have idle apping thoughts of "oooh I could app this person!!" but it's just a passing thought and I usually don't think of what team they'd be on :|a

Hikaru on Kaoru in Deco first!

FIRST OFF, STOP DYING OH MY GOD!!!!!1!

Second, HE LIKES KAORU A LOT. It just sort of stemmed from the fact that he knows that if he wanted something, Kaoru would do it for him. He paid attention to him when he wanted attention! It's rather selfish but it is the truth, and it doesn't change the fact that he is growing some affection for Kaoru even without memories.

It probably didn't hit him until he actually saw his face in the water and noticed he looked similar to Kaoru. Obviously he saw enough differences between 'em, but it was that moment when he realized that "hey, I'm really this guy's brother" and "I guess he really does care about me." It actually frustrates him that he doesn't have HIS memories of Kaoru back yet. Though he has remembered a thing with Kaoru in it, I believe it isn't the same. You don't have your thoughts, your feelings attached '^' you've got someone elses! So even if he does remember, the frustrations are still there. HE WANTS TO REMEMBER YOU. :(

But in regards to dying, it actually scares him a bit. Kaoru is obv. family and he has already died *twice* and he is already kind of upset by it BECAUSE THE PERSON I LIKED DIED. HE'S NOT ALLOWED TO. And he's afraid of the memories he sort of knows Kaoru is important. '-' And when he remembers that, he's going to possibly flip out more with Kaoru dying. SLEEPER FEELINGS, THEY ARE THERE. STOP DYING OK :(

I'M SORRY EVERYTHING WANTS ME AND MY TEAM DEAD

He is really just miserable Hikaru is here by now. There were some initial moments where he was glad to have his brother around but GOSH that feeling has vanished. He'd much rather be miserable and missing him than miserable and worrying about the inevitable moment when Hikaru dies in a competition. He's also dreading having to explain any of the shit he's been through to him a lot. He is going to keep lying to him for as long as he can, but he knows that can't last forever. There are too many people involved in the things he's trying to keep quiet for it to stay secret forever, and he's going to hate every second of whenever those secrets get revealed. :')

He just wants Hikaru to stay safe forever and isn't really sure what he's going to do when Hikaru gets hurt, but he knows it won't be pretty. And he's afraid of what Hikaru's going to think of him when he reacts to that.

Hikaru finds out about Shark's tattoo on Kaoru right now; how does that go?

If that includes the whole deal about possessing his body and all that . . .

He would possibly freak out like . . . POSSESSING THINGS, UM. THAT IS A BIT UM. UM?????? WHAT. He really would probably try to find a way to take it off, realize he can't and then freak out more. It's just one of those "CAN PEOPLE SERIOUSLY DO THAT" moments and he's still without memories so it wouldn't freak him out as badly as it could.

However, the more memories he gets remembering Kaoru, the more anger would start to build. :'D He wouldn't be able to kill Celeste because of it and thus he wouldn't have any real outlet. HE'D PROBABLY EVENTUALLY GO TO A PORTRAIT TO ASK FOR HELP AND WOULD NOT FEEL ANY REMORSE ABOUT IT.

What memory are you most looking forward to getting back for both of yours?

For Maya I want her to remember her sister dying eventually and being accused of murder. Something that has a lot of impact! Because she received a lot of her CASES ENDED VERY NICELY memories so something that will shake that "everything will be okay" feeling would be great. :|b

For Hikaru, I don't really know. '^' I kind of would like to grab a Kaoru memory in there sometime! Aather-wise, I want something significant but not terrible . . .OH. Green Knight's head chopping game would be fun. :|a Learn that it is sometimes ok to chop off persona ~~portrait~~ heads. Yes yes.

The time he diiiieeed. Which will hold impact no matter when he gets it since when he died in EC it was with all his memories/zero sense of "I will come back from this". There's a feeling of finality to it that will come across in the memory since he really believed that was a final death, so it'll be fun to play with. :>

For Yayoi I thiiink both the first level of touching and hearing. The way I play with removal of those is: when she starts to get them back she gets such an overload of information from the input of hearing+touch that she sort of bluescreens for a few seconds. :'D ALSO FUN TO PLAY WITH

How is Hikaru handling Kaoru in Aather so far?

There's kind of like this weird mixture of certainty and uncertainty, it's the best way I can describe it! :|a Like he sort of has ideas of what they might be like together, piecing what he learned from Kaoru and Kit and Tamaki, but they're so fuzzy that he doesn't feel comfortable enough to pursue it! SO LIKE, he feels like hand holding and hugging is ok because he was okay with that in aather, but then maybe it's not okay . . .

IT SHOULD BE OKAY TO FEEL TERRIBLE ABOUT KAORU DYING but maybe it isn't??? And it is too much for his peabrain to handle :( So he just sort of . . . goes with it. I WANT TO UNDERSTAND YOU AND YOUR FEELS BUT I CAN'T, YOU'RE STILL SORT OF A STRANGER TO ME. A NICE ONE BUT STILL A STRANGER. THAT OBVIOUSLY HAS SECRETS.

RELATIONSHIP ME

CLEO IS SO SMRT. THE SMRTEST ON OUR TEAM. Maybe Angel is tied with Cleo but YES. Seriously, she really looks up to Cleo with like . . . so much admiration. Cleo seems composed, knows what she's doing, prepared to do what's right and is generally a good-hearted person. The thing with the dragon made her so upset but she isn't so mad because Cleo did it to protect them. And so she knows Cleo's heart is in the right place, and it's stuff like that that makes Maya want to protect her too! :(

SHE'S REALLY SCARED THAT CLEO IS GOING TO KEEP GETTING HURT. And it bothers her a lot because she feels like she's useless a lot of times as it is, and if Maya doesn't step up, Cleo will just get hurt even more. D: DON'T DO THAT CLEO, I LOVE YOU OKAY.

Cleo thinks Gourmet is very much A Civilian and should not be hurt ever. Her optimism and cheer is something Cleo finds exhausting, but she also appreciates it and wants to make sure it doesn't get ruined by games! Which means she is like a billion times more likely to do stupid things to protect her, along with Bella and Angel. (She is also a terrible judge of age and thinks that all three of them are about the same age.)

However, after the Cinderella Clusterfuck, she is now really worried about what will happen to the others if Cleo gets offed early, so now she wants to see about giving Maya a way to defend herself. Because Gourdy is not allowed to die ever damn it.

What memories for Maya are you looking forward to getting back the most?

Probably Mia dying. :'D ANYTHING THAT WILL MAKE A SUPER IMPACT. She has a lot of good memories atm so a nice sig neg would be great. '-'b

in particular what i really love is world building! I can make an entire world and build everything and have to manage what is and is not known because the world is different from Earth and what repercussions everything has and it's really cool. OTHER THAN THAT you can also build a character to your pings so you can generally know ahead of time if a character is not going to work out or something! And there's also a sort of a joy in when a character works and people like them and you see discussion of them there is a great feeling of I MADE THAT, PEOPLE LIKE WHAT I MADE (i don't have the chinhands emote here because this isn't plurk but pretend I do)

WHAT KIND OF OCS DO YOU HAVE :O

MOST OF MINE ARE BASED OFF OF OLD MIDDLE SCHOOL OCS ololol but I evolved them a bit so they're not so sparkly magic kawaii desu or anything like that. '-'b But yes, a world where colors mean quite a bit! Certain colors represent certain meanings and depending on the colors you receive, it tells you of destiny and the like. And then one child who was born was born with a color she wasn't suppose to have WHICH WAS WEIRD and no one could explain it, but before things could happen, world goes under attack, she's sent off, lands on Earth, gets stuck with a random dude who is the worst father ever and grows up to be a really quirky, slightly violent girl who just wants to eat candy all day but people won't let her. '-'

IT'S MOSTLY SILLY SHENANIGANS AND LOTS OF FAMILY THINGS (because she has like 20 siblings or something) but there were a lot of srs story plots involved too which I never did flesh out because it was just fun stuff between me and friends!

There's also a trio of OCs I enjoyed from an organized crime story I had with a pal '-' Two were a set of guy twins (Kakira and Maslin) who traveled along side their lady friend (Song-Rae). Kakira was a butt, Maslin was neurotic and Song Rae was a bit of a troll. AMBIGUOUS MORALS AND IDEALS IN THREE DIFFERENT WAYS, that was really the point of their existence.

I WOULD DEFINITELY BUILD MORE IF I EVER WANTED TO APP AN OC OF COURSE, but those are the ones I put the most work in.

Cleo is given three wishes (besides the wish she made for deco). WHAT ARE THEY.

IN DECO they are probably the really obvious: Give everyone their wishes without the fucking murder competitions, bring the murderous portraits to JUSTICE, and... maybe give a way for the people to stay in touch across worlds because she will miss people. ;w;

In her canon the wishes would probably be to make the oceans safe, and to have one more conversation with her grandfather, but the third one she would honestly not know what to do with.

His first impression was, whoa, quiet kid. Likes snow? LIKE HE DIDN'T PAY MUCH ATTENTION TO IRIS IN THE FIRST PLACE so the initial impression wasn't great. But then she started to bring back food and offered to share and then recently, with the whole zombie event, she expressed worrying about having to kill him and the others and in the end, he was like . . .

Wow, I feel sort of like a butt for not caring in the first place . . . '-' I mean it wouldn't have bothered him much before BUT HE HAD HIS GROSS MEMORY OF THREE'S GAME and was filled with feelings of regret and such so it sort of stuck out. SHE CARED ABOUT ME DESPITE NOT KNOWING WHO I AM. . . oh . . . '-' /slightdere

ARYA HAS MASSIVE DERE FOR HIKARU mostly because he reminds her of one of her brothers!! Only he's definitely older and taller, but he has the same sort of independent spirit that Bran did, therefore he is worthy of dere. So she would really like to get to know him better and see what kind of person he is.

She's also kind of dere about a team because they remind her of having a family again, and she hasn't had one at this point for about two years! This is an unfamiliar and somewhat new experience, because she knows they're not family, but she feels like she should protect them as if they were! On the other hand she's also being taught at home that she can't be herself under any circumstances. But this isn't home, so it's kind of...hard to justify?
